Once you are convinced that you need a 'Yes' answer from a particular person in order for you to take the next step towards achieving a desired goal, you must never accept a 'No' answer from that person. You must persist with subtlety and optimism. You must ignore any obvious or apparent snobbery and keep asking until you get what you want. Remember the persistent biblical widow and the judge who refused her plea to please, "Grant me justice against my adversary."
